FASStrack Asia: The Summer School 2016
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at the National University of Singapore will be offering FASStrack Asia: The Summer School 2016 from 20 June to 22 July 2016, and we will like to welcome your students to spend a few weeks in the programme with us.
This 5-week summer school will focus on Asian-related topics and issues to offer students an insight into the fastest-growing region in the world. We offer courses in different disciplines such as Asian Studies, Sociology, Public Health, Cultural studies as well as in Economics with special emphasis on various Asian regions. There are also Asian language classes on offer. Some of these courses feature an 8 to 10 days’ field trip to countries such as Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Myanmar and Thailand, as well as local field trips in Singapore.
Students get to stay on-campus at NUS’ residential colleges and combine living, studying and playing on-campus for a comprehensive summer experience in NUS. To encourage diversity and cultural exchange, your students will study and live with NUS students and other international students from top universities around the world, join in social activities to learn about Singapore, and get an opportunity to explore the rest of Asia!
