On the afternoon of September 18, Prof. LiYongyin and Shan Shilian, associate deans of the School of Humanities, presided the reception of the delegation led by Prof. Jürgen , President of the University of Bonn at the meeting hall ofSOH. The two parties launched a fruitful talk on research cooperation, studentsexchange and joint programs, etc. President Fohrmann has personally shown agreat interest towards our research field of philosophy and history. Also, hehas expressed his willingness to actively promote the cooperation of relatedliberal arts majors between the two schools. Afterwards, Prof. Ralh Kauz, Deanof the Department of Sinology, the Institute of Oriental and Asian Studies,University of Bonn, introduced to the representatives of SOH the status quo ofthe Institute of Oriental and Asian Studies and hoped the outstanding studentsfrom SOH can pursue advanced study there.
Prof. Li Yongyin, on behalf of the SOH,proposed four frames on cooperation. Besides, Prof. Shan Shilian also gave somepersonal suggestions on how to carry out Inter-disciplinary Cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides exchanged brochures and posed for pictures.
