马龙(www.manuelperezgarcia.eu)于2017年9月加入上海交通大学人文学院历史系副教授。他于2013年至2017年间在中国人民大学国际研究学院任副教授。2011年至2013年,于清华大学历史系担任博士后研究员和主任助理。他还是巴伐利亚州奥拉维德大学特别研究员(西班牙塞维利亚)。

2011年于欧洲大学研究所(意大利佛罗伦萨)历史和文明系获得博士学位。

目前,他已获得由ERC(欧洲研究委员会)启动赠款的“地平线2020欧洲研究与创新基金”框架下的GECEM项目(中国与欧洲之间的全球遇险计划 www.gecem.eu)。马龙在这个项目中主要研究中国与欧洲市场一体化和经济增长。他是全中国第一个(迄今为止唯一)接受ERC资助的学者。

他是中国全球历史网络(GHN)的创始人兼总监,这个网站是中国建立的全球第一个全球史学术网站(www.globalhistorynetwork.com

他是加利福尼亚大学伯克利分校的研究员,莱顿大学国际亚洲研究学院玛丽·居里研究员,东京大学、墨西哥国立自治大学、马卡拉塔大学、牛津大学圣安东尼学院全球史中心的客座教授。
