The Delegation from the University of Murcia in Spain Visited the School of Humanities

On July 5, 2019, Juan Samuel Baixauli Soler, Dean of the School of Business, University of Murcia, Spain, and Vice Dean, Marcos Anton Renart, paid a visit to the School of Humanities. Qi Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Humanities, Liu Jialin, Vice Dean, Mo Xiaoling, Director of the Office of Cooperation and Exchange, participated in the reception and exchange. The meeting was held in Room 206, No. 1 Lecture Building, Xuhui Campus.

On behalf of the School of Humanities, Qi Hong welcomed the delegation from the University of Murcia. She mentioned that this May, the School of Humanities visited the University of Murcia to explore the possibilities of cooperation, and that helped strengthened mutual communication and exchange. During that visit, both sides agreed to co-organize the International Culture Week as the first step of the cooperation. She also expressed her appreciation for the visit of the UM delegation and her hope that the programs that had been discussed would be promoted and implemented soon.

During the meeting, they had an in-depth discussion on the Spanish Culture Week to ensure its smooth implementation in November. Besides, they explored the possibilities of further collaboration in summer school and double degree programs.

After the meeting, Qi Hong presented gifts and souvenirs to the UM delegation.
