Australian Universities “Future Academic Excellence Program”
I. Program Overview
The School of Humanities at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, adhering to the philosophy of international education, is pleased to offer the "Future Academic Excellence Program" for Australian university students. This short-term program is designed to provide students with an internationally oriented, high-standard, and open academic curriculum combined with cultural experiences, thereby helping them broaden their global perspectives and enhance their international competitiveness.
The program offers academic courses taught by experienced faculty members from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and other world-renowned universities. All courses adhere to international educational standards and employ a variety of instructional methods, including lectures, case studies, and specialized research projects. During the program, students will have the opportunity to participate in a range of cultural activities, such as lectures by corporate executives and company visits.
II. About the School of Humanities, Shanghai Jiao Tong University
The School of Humanities at Shanghai Jiao Tong University was established in 2015 through the merger of the former School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the School of International Education. It serves as a vital window for international exchange at the university. The School currently hosts nearly 2,000 international students from over 70 countries and regions and has established partnerships with more than thirty renowned universities in China and abroad, achieving significant outcomes in joint programs, academic exchanges, and collaborative research.
Courses are held at Xuhui Campus, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, located in the heart of Shanghai, offering convenient transportation, easy access to commercial amenities, and a pleasant study environment.

IV. Eligibility
Current first-year to third-year undergraduate students enrolled in Australian universities.
V. Course Offerings
Each
course comprises 45 instructional hours and adopts an international teaching
model. (Each course requires a minimum of 15 students to commence;
courses with fewer than 15 students will be canceled. )
