Online Orientation for Chinese Language Program Students Held in the School of Humanities

On September 10, 2021, the online orientation for Chinese language program students was held in the School of Humanities. The orientation was hosted by Prof. Wang Jun, Director of the school’s Center for International Chinese Education. Faculty from the Center for International Chinese Education, staff from the International Student Service Center and the Academic Affairs Office, and international students from over 30 countries attended the orientation. 




Prof. Wu Jianfeng, Vice Dean of the school, delivered a welcome address and encouraged the students to keep on learning Chinese to deepen their understanding of Chinese culture and to help promote cultural exchanges between China and other countries. 





Ms. Xiao Wei from the Academic Affairs Office and Ms. Dai Xing from the International Student Service Center explained the course arrangements, visa policies and other relevant affairs, and answered students’ questions respectively. During this one-hour orientation, the students also showed great passion for Chinese learning and expressed their expectation for the new semester.
