Opening Ceremony of 2017 Summer School on China Studies held at School of Humanities

On July 7th, 2017, the opening ceremony of 2017 Summer School on China Studies was held at School of Humanties on Minhang Campus, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. This summer school focuses on "China Studies". All 22 students, Prof. Liu Jialin, the Vice-dean of School of Humanities, and Associate Professor Zhang Zhaoyang attended the openning ceremony.


The summer school, which started on July 6th and will last for four weeks, includes both classes and fieldwork study. It combines specialists from the school of Humanities in the fields of literature, history, and geography in order to advance students' understandings of how China marches into the twentieth-first century.


The summer school enrolls 22 students, among them 13 come from world-wide famous universities like KU Leuven, Kings College London, and University of Ottawa, 8 come from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
