International Students Won Awards in the 2022 “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreigners across the Globe-Calligraphy and Painting Challenge

In the 2022 “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreigners across the Globe-Calligraphy and Painting Challenge hosted by Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, international students from the School of Humanities at SJTU won four awards in the calligraphy group under the guidance of Prof. Zhou Bin. 

Timothy Yong Kang Sheng from Malaysia and Sara Dervishi from Albania won the Most Potential Award, Kun Zhang from Australia won the Online Popularity Award, Si Danh Vong from Vietnam won the Social Media Popularity Award, and Prof. Zhou Bin also won the Excellent Mentor Award. 





Since its establishment in 2002, “Chinese Bridge” has been committed to promoting language and cultural exchanges between China and other countries, enhancing the global ties and mutual learning. The “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreigners across the Globe-Calligraphy and Painting Challenge aims to further promote cultural exchanges through calligraphy and painting and has attracted worldwide Chinese learners to participate.
