On June 8, graduate students from the School of Humanities' International Chinese Education program excelled once again at the 6th "Zhushi Cup" International Chinese Teacher Teaching Skills Competition. Liu Aijun secured the First Prize in the Chinese Graduate Student category, while Xu Jiayi claimed the Third Prize. In the International Graduate Student category, Yeongseo Jung (South Korea) also earned the Third Prize.

Hosted by the International College of Chinese Studies at East China Normal University, this year's "Zhushi Cup" competition expanded to include four distinct categories: Chinese Undergraduates, Chinese Graduates, International Undergraduates, and International Graduates. The event attracted 358 participants from 122 universities nationwide.

The Chinese International Education Center within the School of Humanities accorded the competition high priority. Under the guidance of instructor Duan Mo, the students prepared diligently. Following the preliminary and final rounds, three students distinguished themselves among 41 finalists with their solid professional knowledge and exceptional teaching demonstrations, ultimately achieving these commendable results. This marks the second consecutive year that the School has claimed the competition's highest honor. In recent years, ICE master's students have consistently won major awards in national professional teaching competitions. These achievements demonstrate the program's strong teaching capabilities and research caliber, effectively showcasing its distinctive training philosophy of "advancing learning and teaching through competitions".
