The Delegation from the University of Bristol Visited the School of Humanities

On November 22, 2023, the delegation led by Prof. Natalie Edwards, Head of the School of Modern Languages at the University of Bristol visited the School of Humanities. Prof. Cai Wenjing, Vice Dean of the School of Humanities, Prof. Wang Jun, Director of the School’s International Chinese Education Center, and Ms. Mo Xiaoling, Director of the School’s International Office and other faculty members attended the reception.

A briefing session on overseas exchange programs was first held for interested students. Ms. Zhang Yihan, the School’s International Affairs Officer, introduced the university-level and school-level exchange programs. Ms. Rachel Wang, International Partnerships Assistant at the University of Bristol, introduced Shanghai Jiao Tong University-University of Bristol Double Master Degree Program in details. A Q&A session was also held.

Later, the two parties had an in-depth exchange on the progression of the double master degree program and agreed to promote further collaboration including lecture series, bilateral workshops and collaborative publications in the near future.
